What is FLIP?

FLIP is everyone’s sneaker connect — the premier specialty destination where people find and sell hard to find, rare, limited edition sneakers. We have created a community where our members can buy and sell with confidence and ease. Never miss out on an opportunity to place your bid on hard to find sneakers in 90 minutes from a curated list of quality sellers who really care. Our mobile only platform is currently available for your iPhone and coming soon to Android. We strive to keep an open and trusted environment for our community.

How do I get started on FLIP?

The short checklist below will get you started:

  • Create your account - Complete your profile, making sure to provide us with your favorite brands to follow to help us update you once an item becomes available.
  • Browse our Feed - Live auctions will appear in the home feed with all relevant details for that sneaker hand selected from the entire FLIP community. We curate them daily just for you so be sure to check them out!
  • Submit sneakers you want to sell - List an item for sale in less than 60 seconds with the free iPhone app. Snap a picture, add a detailed description, and see just how easy it is to make your first sale! Of course, we guarantee you get paid in 90 minutes!
  • Share with friends - When you invite others, we reward you both with FLIP credit to be used on the platform at anytime. Indeed, more fun for everyone.

When can I use FLIP?

When to BUY - Place your bids during our auction operating hours 11am EST - 2am EST (8am PST - 11pm PST).

When to SELL - You may submit your items to sell 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. (A FLIP team member must review listings before auction goes live.)


Can I buy and sell on FLIP if I’m not in the U.S.?

FLIP is currently only available in the United States and its territories. We hope to be available to international customers very soon, so please check back!


Can I change my username?

Currently you cannot change your username once you set up your FLIP account, so make sure you choose something you love when you register!


How can I trust buying on FLIP?

You are protected every time you win an auction on FLIP with FLIP Protect. When you purchase an item on FLIP, we keep your payment safe until you tell us you’ve received your order. If your item does not match the description, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. After we verify your claim, we’ll refund payment. If we don’t hear from you by 2 days after your order is delivered, we’ll assume everything is OK and release your payment to the seller. Once we release payment, all sales are final and no refunds will be available.


How do I use my FLIP earnings to make purchases?

FLIP makes it very easy to use your earnings or FLIP credits to purchase on FLIP. When you make a purchase, we first apply any credits you have and then your redeemable balance. Any remaining cost will be charged to your credit card. We always require a credit card to make a purchase, but rest assured that if the total cost of the item you’re buying is covered by your credits and/or balance, we will not charge your card.
